Jet Transporting Pete Hegseth Required to Touch Down in UK Due to Crack in Windshield

An aircraft ferrying the US defense secretary was compelled to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday after a crack was discovered in the jet's front window, according to an official statement which confirmed that the secretary was unharmed.

"The plane touched down in accordance with standard procedures and all passengers, among them Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a spokesperson commented in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital at the time.

This event isn't the first occasion that a US military aircraft transporting a high-ranking official has experienced mechanical issues.

Months ago, a American military jet transporting the US Secretary of State to the city in Germany was compelled to head back to the US capital after encountering a mechanical problem.
