Emerging athlete getting ready for major tournament

The rising star boasts impressive social media following

The young golfer will have plenty of high-profile backers as she begins her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to play at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns several international courses and frequently plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"He basically told me to play and have fun," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, so he's quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has competed in only three events this year and has ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, who is dating her mother.

"He is the top athlete globally," Kai stated.

"And he's a more impressive individual. He advised me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

Kai will face some of the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, such as second-ranked Nelly Korda, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

Officials stated that involving Kai helps introduce the sport to different demographics, specifically reaching youth audiences.

Kai boasts a massive following and has started an exclusive fashion and living label.

The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
